WHO IS JULIUS CAESAR AND WHERE DID HE COME FROM?

Julius Caesar was born on July 12 or 13 in 100B.C.  Julius was born into a prestigious Julian clan in Rome, Italy. His parents were Gaius Julius Caesar the Elder and his wife, Aurelia. Julius had two sisters, both named Julia Major and Julia Minor. The Romans spelled his name as CAIVS IVLIVS CAESAR, but he was later know as Caesar.  While growing up he had to learn such subjects; grammatica, where he meet and studied with Marcus and Quintus Tullius Cicero later on to be his good friends, he also studied rhetoric, oratory, philosophy, literature, Greek, and music. 
 When he was eighteen years old he was betrothed or married to Cornelia when she was thirteen, they had a child named julia.  Cornelia died during childbirth in 67B.C. after having the baby.  Julius would later on then marry Pompeia, a cousin of Pompey.  This marriage ended due to a scandal durng the Bona Dea.  He would later on have a child from Cleopatra named Ptolemy XV Philopator Philometor Caesar, julius was never married to cleopatra, but she stayed in his house for two years as his guest.  Julius later on married Calpurnia in 67B.C. a daughter of Piso.
